WAVE SOLDERING
Wave soldering with THD components
THT (Through Hole Technology) technology electronic assembly is characterised by a particular welding procedure, called “wave”.
The assembled electronic circuit boards with axial components are scrolled onto the “crest” of molten solder alloy (with or without lead) which, adhering to the circuit, fixes all the previously mounted components in place.
In the event some THD components cannot be wave welded, the ME ELECTRONICS’ IIS and ESA qualified operators will complete the electronic assembly manually.
